Bird and Hopper Farm is a small, sustainable farm that grows heirloom and open-pollinated vegetables that we sell directly and also use in our handcrafted preserved goods. We also maintain a small flock of Icelandic sheep for fiber products like yarn and roving.
Golden-Laced Wyandotte chickens rule the roost and provide eggs for us and you (along with their Cayuga duck friends), and we have a handful of goats for entertainment and lawn maintenance. This land has many heritage fruit and nut trees we harvest, and plenty of forest delicacies we forage.
