Ferney CommonGround is a small family-owned berry farm and community destination located atop the Blue Ridge Plateau in Floyd, Virginia. It is our mission to provoke awe of the beauty and science in nature, and to reinforce the deep importance of the outdoors, community, and play throughout our lives. We provide visitors a unique agritourism experience with imaginative natural playgrounds and gardens, seasonal pick-your-own berries, and a welcoming, casual space for people of all ages to gather and unwind. Come for the berries, run wild in the gardens, and stay into the golden hour among the flowers.
2023 Note: All public operations are by appointment only, Thursday – Saturday, May – August. Message us on Facebook to get in touch and for berry picking conditions. Berry picking: 5pm – sunset. We are a very small plot suited more for the joy of picking than for canning.
