The Floyd Backpack Program ensures weekend food for eligible students during the school year. It is provided through their school. The Floyd artisan community supports the Backpack Program through the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser event. The community also generously supports it with monetary donations and their volunteer efforts. The Rotary Club leads the weekly packing of the food items.
